David Hecht's design philosophy is simple:
1. The kitchen must be functional
2. The kitchen must be aesthetically appealing

As the renowned architect Louis Sullivan believed form must follow function, as is the philosophy of David Hecht. There is so much more to a kitchen than that which meets the eye. After 48 years in the Kitchen and Bath Industry, David puts the form and the function into the room that is truly the heart of your home. He has been the vanguard in demanding excellence and quality from David Hecht Kitchen Centre. Through his lead, we distinctively answer every design challenge with a sense of adventure.

David is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association, has received an award for his work within the Kitchen and Bath Industry from Wood-Mode custom cabinetry, his work has been published in the Norwich, CT newspaper and he has been awarded kudos via the Readers Digest Award. When he isn't designing dream kitchens, he can be found on the links!
       

Bill Hecht - President

High Standards, a proven track record in design, discriminating products, and for your home, a kitchen, which will make you beam with pride. Bill Hecht, president of David Hecht's Kitchen Centre, simply stated….knows how to run a top ranking kitchen and bath design firm. Behind him, he has over 32 years combined experience in kitchen / bath design, drafting and computer aided design. His work has been recognized by Wood-Mode custom cabinetry on several occasions, and he has attended Wood-Mode's design school. He is a graduate of the University of Hartford, in CT.

When a spare moment is to be found, Bill loves to take time to garden, play basketball and swim.

Fred D. Izzarelli - Sales / Kitchen Designer

With over 40 years of home remodeling, kitchen and bath design, and drafting experience, kitchen designer Fred Izzarelli is truly a revered veteran within the Industry. Even one of his hobbies, woodworking, reflects his love of design and wood. As a topnotch designer, Fred knows how to combine quality products and unsurpassed design expertise into a stunning kitchen for your home. In fact his work has been recognized by the National Kitchen and Bath Association!

Fred loves to relax through travel in addition to his woodworking.

    
    

Jinny Plasse - Design Consultant

Totally committed to demanding excellence from design, designer Jinny Plasse uncovers the formula for success in every home. The key word is quality. Quality products and quality design, and you are the one to benefit from these necessities. Once Jinny combines her interior and kitchen/bathroom design experience in your home, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it!

Jinny is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and NARI. Her work has been published in Rhode Island Gourmet Guide and New London Day. She is a graduate of Notre Dame College for Women and regularly hones her skills through the National Kitchen and Bath Association and Wood-Mode custom cabinetry training/design classes.

   

Linda Boudreau - Receptionist

Linda Boudreau is the smiling face you will see as you walk into the David Hecht Custom Kitchen showroom. New to the kitchen industry, having joined the David Hecht Kitchen family in late April of 1999, she brings with her over 12 years in library services, including public assistance, computer work, diverse clerical and telephone work. In her off time, she enjoys camping with her husband and 9 year old daughter, also enjoys reading and gardening and dabbles a bit in digital photography. She dreams of the day when she will have a David Hecht kitchen of her own.

Peter Hunt - Installer

A valuable resource to David Hecht Custom Kitchen Centre, Peter is experienced in all types of fabrication and installation. His work is typical of old world craftsmanship.
Peter's background includes over 30 combined years of carpentry, cabinet making and woodworking experience. He also attended the four-year Connecticut state carpentry apprenticeship program.
   
    

Ed Tremblay, Installer

With a quarter century of home remodeling, countertop fabrication and Corian fabrication under his belt, installer Ed Tremblay will provide that magic touch to your cabinet and countertop installation. The lure of experience, his work is a simple pleasure.

In his spare time, Ed enjoys New England's beauty while fishing and camping.
