Adam’s kitchen remodel in Stonington, CT blends modern warmth with clean, tailored design. The space features a unique mix of soft matte finished walnut island and refrigerator section and soft custom green perimeter cabinetry, creating a grounded and inviting palette. Dramatic quartz countertops and minimalist hardware contribute to a sleek aesthetic, while the layout offers a balance of openness and utility. A large island anchors the space with integrated seating and prep area, making it ideal for both everyday use and entertaining.

The Transformation
What did you accomplish? We moved and added windows to Adam’s kitchen to accommodate the revised layout and accomplish better workflow and natural light. Adam wanted to mix materials with his design, so we designed a custom dark metal hood that fit seamlessly against his vaulted ceiling. This added a gorgeous design element to the space and offset his stainless appliances. We designed floor to counter end panels for his island to give it a bigger visual presence in his room and coordinated the soft veiled matte finished walnut between it and the refrigerator section.
